New Podcast Series Debuts: Climbing the E-Biz Mountain, Part 1

I’m excited to announce a new 4-part podcast series that I moderated is being introduced on IDEA’s website and through NEMAcast. I’ve had the good fortune to interview and interact with several E-Biz leaders in the electrical industry for this podcast (an article was also published in NEMA’s ei Magazine). The companies I spoke with, Border States Electric and Cooper Industries, are both 2011 Richard Buzun Award winners. This is a prestigious award provided to only two companies each year for their eBusiness achievements.

In the first segment, representatives from both companies discuss the first step to initiate a successful eBusiness project: grasping the big picture by developing a vision, goals, and determining priorities. I encourage you to listen if you manage any large projects because these tips translate to successful pursuits in most arenas. I certainly learned a lot from each of them.
