They’ve hit again!
A new stream of mailers posing as invoices recently flooded the mailboxes of some of our clients. The responsible company, DNS Services, goes on a rampage every couple of months, trying to trick people into forking over control of their domain names and DNS. It’s not until you read the fine print that there is any indication it’s a solicitation, not a debt.
Although not illegal, this kind of advertising is based on trickery and is a good reminder for all of us to stay savvy and secure. Contact trusted providers before you buy off on the next big scam. We’re happy to guide you in the right direction.
